By taking one look at the divorce section in any chain bookstore, you will
discover a pelethora of books on the subject. The topics include winning the
divorce, surviving divorce, mediation in divorce, and books simply called
divorce. Then there are books on types of divorce: reasonable, collaborative,
transformational, constructive, and transcending to name a few. There are
books for women, men, teens, and children. It can be very difficult to discern
which topic to select and which author is credible. When it comes to children
and divorce, it can become even more difficult to decide what is best for your
child. Be sure to read every book with skepticism. If something seems wrong
then trust your instincts. Not every method proposed will be suitable for your
lifestyle or your beliefs. Take time to read a portion of the book before you
purchase.
